Christianity is a religion based on guilt, that’s just a given. I mean, good god, the symbol is a tortured mutilated corpse nailed to a wooden post. “He died for YOUR sins. He gave up his life to save YOU. And there you sit touching yourself. ” Sexual gratification is so strongly tied to negative feelings in this country. The whole religion is pretty much based on the thought that if it makes you feel good, it’s bad.

Enter Divine Interventions. I think when most people talk about Divine Interventions sex toys, the image of a cliched goth chick comes to mind, dressed as a nun and acting like a spiritual equivalent of an angry adolescent. But considering how twisted the psyche is for most devout Christians, I think Divine Intervention’s clientele extends far beyond the shock value set.

I say, show me a good red blooded dyed in the wool faithful catholic girl who hasn’t masturbated with a crucifix once in her life and I’ll show you a priest who succeeded in being celibate.  But while the general shape and metaphor is right with a crucifix, it’s still not a great fit (square peg, round hole)

The art of pegging is, in my opinion, the height of sexual female empowerment over men: the women are fully, 100% in charge. However, nine times out of ten, when a woman brings up the subject of “pegging” to her male partner, the man immediately gets uncomfortable at the thought. For those of you who have not had the pleasure, pegging is a sexual practice in which a woman penetrates a man’s asshole with a strap-on dildo. If you are a man having just read that sentence, you may or may not have already gotten skeeved out and unintentionally clenched your asshole at the uncomfortable thought. However, not all straight men are automatically turned off by this practice.

In terms of physical pleasure, the woman may get direct stimulation from the base of the strap-on, and the man may find stimulation of the anus, rectum, adjacent organs, and particularly the prostate, which can lead to an anal orgasm. In theory, this practice sounds very pleasurable to both the man and woman, but there is just one problem: there are a lot of men who don’t want jack shit going up their butt hole. We’ve all been there.

Oh well. You can’t have everything you want in just one person.

But maybe I have been going about the proposition in the wrong way. Sure, like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I do legitimately have penis envy. I think a lot of women do, even if they choose to keep it a secret. Every once in a while, I want to be the one in charge, the one that controls how hard and deep I thrust it into your tight manhole. But maybe I have been taking too serious of an approach. I recently read a review on “Peg-Ass-Us,” a refreshingly new way to explain the practice of pegging. According to their website:
