The After The Smoke Vs Yelawolf Fued Post Script
Thousands of lives destroyed for one single dope beat
I’ve been following the After the Smoke vs. Yelawolf beef since the violent take no prisoners Universal Music Group/Youtube copyright fiasco hit the streets. This creative dispute resulted in 9 dead, 250 wounded thousands of lives scarred forever. The feud started when After the Smoke discovered that Yelawolf had used their “One In A Million” beat over his own track “Far From A Bitch” and they complained to bloggers. Yelawolf’s lawyers at Universal responded by killing ATS lyricist Whuzi’s dog. ATS then began sending Yelawolf’s mother, boxes of gay porn. Universal responded by deleting “One In A Million” from Youtube for copyright infringement. Yelawolf claimed it was an unfinished track that was leaked and never intended for the track to be released. It is also rumored that he was crying when he wrote this.
But that was back in January. We wrote After the Smoke for comment, and to confirm the rumor we started that Whuzi had lost his pointing finger during this altercation and was in physical therapy.
After repeated attempts to reach him, Whuzi finally wrote back and let us know that our account of the OIAM copyright feud was grossly inaccurate and that we needed to stop harassing them.
