The new generation of indie created hip hop are all coming into their own and starting to get big, fat checks. Are the days of pre-fab market tested club hits over? Of course not don’t be stupid. But these small collectives that are cropping up are all seeing at least one break out artist per group.

RCA just signed him for 1.6 million dollars and gave him another 3 million to start his own label. That is no joke during a time when most signed musicians are making as much as street mimes.
But who is ASAP Rocky you haven’t asked? We want to make up some facts to present as false insights to this up and coming star. ASAP Rocky was born in a small town called Usti Nad in the Czech Republic. He likes long walks in the park, astral projection, group sex and collecting coins. He hates game player haters, onions and the smell of cat litter. At the shocking age of three years old ASAP Rocky won a hot dog eating contest, defeating people 10 times his age. All of these untrue aspects of Rocky and his laid back, super dope verses make for a great, great musical experience.
