Hunx and His Punx
Close your eyes and imagine an alternate untiverse where instead of having Joan Jett as a front woman, the Runways were hijacked and fed a lot of ice cream by a flamingly gay hairdresser who sang homo-erotic 60′s style doo-wop’ish pop songs about heartbreak and hooking up with other dudes.
Awesome, right?
Well, if you’re already fans of Hunx & his Punx, you already know there’s no need to dream. Fronted by hairstylist/Gravy Train frontman Seth Bogart, and featuring Shannon Shaw of the awesome Shannon and The Clams; Hunx & his Punx are touring the country and reportedly forcing straight men to make-out with each other for everyone’s mutual enjoyment.
Because I can’t make their Philadelphia show tonight, I plan on hitting the NYC show with the K-Holes Saturday, in spite of all the other shit going on that night. I’ll have the Swellco T-Shirt on so feel free to say’ hi’ unless you’re a creep… or rather unless you’re a boring and unattractive creep .
