Abuse to puppets must stop
When Swellco & Swellco hyped the already legendary Anti-bestiality Educational Awareness Charity Mixer as an evening of barely contained mayhem, no one realized just how out of hand things would get. It’s our stance that art is meant to be dangerous. So when a few bar brawls broke out amongst guests and some of the evenings talent got tossed out for drinking too much, well that’s just par for course. No one was really hurt, right? Sadly that wasn’t the case. One of the video circus performers became the target of a brutal hate crime during the course of an evening that was meant to be about learning and enlightenment.
After finishing their set, Mr. Deadguy and Baby Cheezwits momentarily retired to Bob & Barbara’s luxurious green room. Upon returning to the stage they discovered that Baby Cheezwits stand had been smashed into small pieces and the phrase “All dead baby puppets must suck a shit” was scrawled on his case. Baby Cheezwits flew into hysterics and has fled into hiding. Only his partner Mr. Deadguy is aware of where he is buried.
Being that Baby Cheezwits is an inanimate object, medical procedures and psychotropic drugs are not effective and it is completely unclear if and when his severe state of psychotic agoraphobia triggered by this hanus act of puppet persecution will ever subside.
On May 4th 2010 Swellco & Swellco will be holding a candle light vigil and hip hop dance party to lend emotional support for the little guy. A rich gala of local talent will be giving speeches and lending words of support. Swellco & Swellco’s go go girls, The Sock Puppet Dancers will be shaking their booties and a gift basket including an old shoe full of Dirty Diamond’s used condoms and a jug of Swellco & Swellco Corporate Ritual Wolfs Pee will be raffled off at the end of the night.
So come rub elbows with Philadelphia’s performing elite as they take the mic to share their favorite Baby Cheeswitts stories and wish the little guy well, set stuff on fire and enjoy some dope lyrics AND dope beats.
