Betty Bloomerz
I’ll never forget the first time met the circus super star Betty Bloomerz. It was after a show she was playing. I found her in the back alley kicking ass. She was taking on an entire gang of outlaw bikers. She was riding a golden one eyed mule, swinging a machete in one hand and swigging from a bottle of whiskey in the other. She lopped off the heads of three men in one stroke like they were dandelions and looked damn good doing it. The girl never broke a sweat. When she had slaughtered the whole gang, she cooly rode up to me, tossed me the bottle and gave me these sage words of advice. She said, “Girl, never sleep on the wet spot, and if your pee burns in the morning, don’t call him back.”
